Our Purpose
The goal of Hawkins Sales of Ohio is to increase territory and market share for our established lines of electrical products. Our strategies involve the aggressive pursuit of new business, maximum penetration of current accounts, and providing a superior level of service and expertise to our distributors; industrial accounts: Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Maintenance and Repair Organizations (MROs); and contractors--both residential and commercial.
Our unified company philosophy is to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both distributors and contractors, as well as engineers and other ultimate end-users of electrical materials.
Our distributors know that they will receive the field support they need on any line handled by Hawkins Sales. This support becomes a valuable part of the distributor sales program.
We are members of local Electrical Leagues and Associations, as well as the National Electric Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA).
The Company
In 1984, Will Hawkins formed the company, “Hawkins and
Associates,” operating out of Cleveland, Ohio. As a one man operation, Will quickly grew over the years and now boasts an agency with 33 employees, working out of two office facilities with a 50,000 sq. ft warehouse. |

Facilities
Cleveland
Hawkins Sales of Ohio, in the Cleveland location, presently operates within 50,000 square feet of warehouse and office space. The office is equipped with a ten-station networked computer system in which EDI transmissions occur to several manufacturers via the NEMRA computer software. In addition, we are equipped with two fax machines, which operate twenty-four hours a day. Our conference room, furnished with Wireless Access and PowerPoint Projector, is utilized for sales and training meetings. We also offer fixed-day service to Akron/Canton, Youngstown, Toledo and Columbus-Cincinnati, with our fleet of three trucks. Our trucks include one 48 foot Tractor Trailer, one 24 foot International Box truck, and a Ford F150 for local deliveries. The Cleveland Warehouse stocks: AFC fittings, Arlington, American Insulated Wire, BRK Electronics, Cantex, Genesis, Harger, Kaf-Tech, Rab and Wheatland.
Cincinnati
The Cincinnati regional office assists customers in the Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky areas with technical support and quotations. Both inside and outside sales reps work out of the Cincinnati office. The office is equipped with three networked computers, which are connected to our Cleveland office for fast stock inquires, and two fax machines. |
